To reduce assemble time for each details which has same mate concentric or face with a standard detail; we consider it as standard and repetitive assembly with others. We only need a tying command; we can do for co-assembly detail group; usually applying for a lot of machine frameworks. To understand more clearly we can see a specific example.
Step 1: Create a detail group and bring to assembly environment
Step 2: Call command“mate” and do assembly all mate concentric only one time
1: First call “mate” in Assembly tag
2: Select option “mate”, commonly, when we call command, SolidWorks choose this option automatically.
3: Multiple mate mode: we choose this to bind many surfaces at the same time; this example is mate concentric
4: Select standard surface to bind others
5: Creat multi-mate folder: if we choose this part, created ties will automatically contain in tying folder “mate”
Step 3: Select surfaces which we want to bind according to standard one
While choosing surface, it bind your direct vice versa, do not cancel, click button “Flip Mate Alignment” to reverse
Step 4: Click “Ok” we achieve the result.
Step 5: Continue binding next surface depending on your framework
