To create sheet metal with bending line basing on initiate spline block, we can create an appropriate covering sheet metal basing that block, usually applying for boxed details. SolidWorks with module Sheet Metal will help you to do easily.

Step 1: Create primary block by common commander

 

Step 2: Select “Convert to Sheet Metal” and following guidance.

Step 3: Select edge which needs bending to create side edges of box

Step 4: Click “Ok”   we achieve expected result
