|The Toolpath Manager is a central location where you can manage all the elements of the current job. It is located within the Operations Manager along with the Solids Manager and—if Art is installed—the Art Manager.
The figure above shows you how the machine groups (Machine Group 1 and Machine Group 2) and toolpath group subfolders appear in the Toolpath Manager. For detailed information on the contents of the list shown above, please see Toolpath Manager List.
Once you have generated toolpaths for the part, most activity in Mastercam takes place in the Toolpath Manager. A toolpath operation is created automatically every time you create a toolpath. Toolpaths cannot be created until you identify the machine properties by either selecting or creating a machine group. For more information on setting up the machine properties, please see About the control definition and About the machine definition.
By default, Toolpath Manager is displayed in the Operations Manager. If it is not displayed, choose View, Toggle Operations Manager.
|Use the Toolpath Manager to generate, sort, edit, regenerate, verify, backplot, and post any operation.
To simplify the graphics window display, you can set Toolpath Manager options to view toolpaths and associative geometry for only selected toolpath operations.
The Toolpath Manager organizes toolpath information in machine and toolpath groups. Each machine group contains details of the machine properties (support files, tooling, stock, etc.) and each operation contain details of the toolpaths (parameters, tools, embedded operations, etc.).
You can also organize your operations into subgroups called toolpath groups. For more information on organizing the Toolpath Manager, please see Toolpath Manager List and Toolpath Manager quick reference.
Right-click menu options
The Toolpath Manager has an extensive list of commands for its right-click menu. For information on each of the menu choices, please see Toolpath Manager right-click menu.
