Choose Create, Chamfer, Chains.
Chain Chamfer ribbon bar
|Use this ribbon bar to chamfer existing chained entities. When you open this ribbon bar, the Chaining dialog box opens, and you are prompted to chain entities. Chain the entities that you want to chamfer. When you close the chaining dialog box, Mastercam’s auto-preview marks the chained entities for chamfering as shown here:
To accept the default chamfer values, click the Apply button. You can change the distance or width values any time before clicking Apply.
You can also choose to trim to the chamfer or to leave the selected lines untrimmed. Trimming is the default, so for no trimming, select the No Trim button.
Note: AutoCursor is unavailable during the use of this ribbon bar.
C- Chain (chains entities)
D – Distance/Width (defines endpoint distance from intersections or width of chamfer)
S – Style (defines chamfer style)
T – Trim (trims entity to chamfer)
N – No Trim (does not trim entity to chamfer)
P – Apply (applies/accepts chamfers created by chaining entities)
O – OK (fixes live entity and exits function)
