The Machining palette contains function tiles which are used to create machining processes, including: drilling, contouring, roughing, surfacing, and threading. Combining a function tile with a tool tile in the process list displays a machining process dialog specific to the function where all of the machining parameters are entered. This section describes the surfacing process and the contouring and roughing processes as they pertain to machining solids and sheets.
