Fill Face option in Rapidform XOR

Using this command, You can construct a surface from boundary which is edges of the body.

How to use Fill Face command

Clickimage47_864 button on the toolbar, or clickInsert > Surface > Fill Face.

Select the edges to fill face.

Click OK.

Edges – Select any number of edges to fill face.
  • Set Continuity Constraint – If checked, you can define G1 or G2 conditions to the selected edges. If you don’t use this option, sewing will be done with G0 condition.

Tangent Continuous Edges – Select edges which you want to connect them with G1 condition.

Curvature Continuous Edges – Select edges which you want to connect them with G2 condition. This option is available when you check the Create Single Patch option.

  • Shape Transition To Adjacent Faces – If you move the slider to Abrupt, the modification centralizes around edge.
  • Boundary Accuracy – It determines boundary accuracy to sew edges. If you move the slider to Loose, the application creates fewer points on an edge and tries to zip them.
  • Unconstrained Edge – It determines to fix the position of lamina edges.
  • Create Single Patch– If you check this option, the application creates single surface.

  • Merge Result – The created surface will be merged to original bodyso it will be single body.
