Using this command, you can extrude a sketch to make it as a solid.

How to use Extrude command

Create sketch as the below image.

Click button on the toolbar, or click Insert > Solid > Extrude. Select Base Sketch. Set Length to 50mm and Draft to 10 degree.

Select the Method. Click OK.

Base Sketch – Select the sketch to extrude. |
- Profiles – Select loops to extrude.

- ExtrudeDirection – Select a direction vector in the graphics area to extrude the sketch in a direction other than normal to sketch profile.
- Method – You can select a method to extrude.

a)Blind: Extends the feature from the sketch plane for a specified
distance.

b) Through All: Extends the feature from the sketch plane through all
existing geometry.

c)Up To Vertex: Select a vertex in the graphics area for Vertex.

Draft:You can set Draft On/Off. Adds draft to the extruded feature. Set the Draft Angle. Select Draft outward if necessary.

You can use to change the direction of draft. |
- Opposite Direction – Set these options to extrude in both directions from the sketch plane. The options are the same as Direction.
- Result Operator: This option is available when there are two more bodies.
a) Cut: When the two solids make an intersection, the resultant solid is cut to
keep only the intersected part.
b) Merge: The first body is merged with the new extrusion.

If you do not check anything, the application creates independent body.c |
