l Session
New – Starts a new session. Open – Opens an existing session file (.CSF) Save – Saves the current session (.CSF) l Positioning Features Open – Opens existing positioning targets file (.TXT). Copy – Copies positioning targets to a new scan. Save – Saves positioning targets in file (.TXT) l Scan List – It shows existing scans of current session and highlights the current scan. Add – Adds a scan in the current session. Rename Scan – Changes name of current scan to the name in the Current Scan box. Remove Scan – Removes current scan. l Sensor Sensor Configuration – Shows the Sensor Configuration dialog box of Handyscan 3D. Sensor Calibration – Shows the Sensor Calibration dialog box of Handyscan 3D. l Scan Backup Path – You can set the backup folder of scan data. |

l Scan
Start – If you click this button, it starts scanning. Stop – If you click this button, it stops current scanning. Reset – If you click this button, it clears the scan data of the current scan. Surface – This mode gathers both surface data and positioning features during scanning. Positioning Features – This mode gathers only positioning features during scanning. Show Current Scan Only – If checked, it shows only the scan data of the selected scan. Hide Positioning Feature When Surface Scanning – If checked, the positioning features will be hidden during scanning. Hide Positioning Feature When Surface Scanning – If checked, the positioning features will be hidden during scanning. Show VxScan Entity Only – If checked, It shows only shells and ref.points entities related to scan data. Open VxScan Window – Opens VxScan window. It allows the user to access all the functions that VxScan provides. |

l Surface Parameter – You can set the scanning volume size or resolution. After changing the settings, you have to click Apply or Cancel button.
Volume Size – Adjust surface reconstruction settings according to your needs. This sets the scanning volume. Changing the volume size has a direct impact on the voxel size of each resolution level. Resolution – You can select High, Med or Low resolution. Apply – Confirms the setting. Cancel – Restores previous settings. Center Volume – Centers the volume on the object being scanned. Refine – Performs an operation on the surface that will decrease the impact of possible positioning errors that may occur during the scan. l Facet Parameter – You can set the scanning volume size or resolution. After changing the settings, you have to click Apply or Cancel button. Spike Filter – It determines the level of spike filtering. Fill Positioning Features – If checked, the application fills holes created by the positioning features on the object. Apply – Confirms the settings. Cancel – Restore previous settings. |
